A good action story about an escaped convict and the two women in his life. When it started a girls wedding and New Years Eve were only six hours away and Philip Marlowe didn’t think the bride-to-be would make either one of them but that was before he ran up against the slot machine operator, the escaped convict and above all the old acquaintance.
