Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam . The Rubáiyát is a collection of poems, originally written in the Persian language and of which there are about a thousand, attributed to the Persian mathematician and astronomer Omar Khayyám . Rubaiyat" means "quatrains": verses of four lines."
